As a nurse, midwife and International board certified Lactation Consultant, I am committed to providing families with individualised holistic care and support throughout the pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey. Whether you are a first time parent or have had multiple pregnancies I am here to guide you with evidence based information. My aim is always to provide information to enable you to make the most informed decisions for you and your family. I offer a range of services for you to choose from. About Me
Andrea Gleeson
I have been working as a nurse and midwife for 13 years, however being mom to my two girls is what inspired my lactation education journey. As a midwife I had assumed I would breastfeed with ease, I soon discovered I would be presented with different challenges. It’s through navigating these challenges I developed such a love for lactation support, giving me both a personal and professional perspective when supporting parents through their own journey.
Services
Antenatal
As an experienced midwife, I offer antenatal one to one that will cover everything you need. This can cover anything of particular concern to you, while I can also focus on preparation for your feeding journey and what to expect following the birth of your baby.
Breastfeeding support
As a midwife and a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) I can provide one to one support in your own home, online or chat support if you prefer. At times unexpected challenges can present themselves during your feeding journey, I can help provide some guidance to help you over come these challenges and achieve your personal goals.
Online breastfeeding class
I can also offer online breastfeeding classes to cover everything you need to know on your breastfeeding journey
